Is there a subscription?
No. Tendly is a one-time purchase on Etsy. There is no account and no monthly fee.
Which devices does it work on?
iPhone, iPad, Android phones and tablets, and Windows, Mac and ChromeOS computers, in the browser or installed like an app. On iPhone and iPad, install it before you enter anything: the Home Screen app keeps its own storage.
Where is my data kept?
On your device. There is no account. Back it up to a file whenever you like and restore it on another device.
Does it work without internet?
Yes. Once opened, Tendly works offline.
Can my partner use it on their phone?
Yes. Family Sync links your phones, a tablet or a computer with a six-digit code, and everyone sees the same baby log. Your data is encrypted on your device before it leaves it. The server can't read it. The baby's photo stays on the device that added it.
Does it work for twins?
Yes. Add each baby, then log for one of them, or log a diaper, a sleep or a note for both at once. Home, Timeline and Insights show one baby at a time, with a quick switch.
We don't pump. Can we hide what we don't use?
Yes. Turn pumping, the milk stash, bottles or any other kind of tracking off in Settings. It disappears from Home and the summaries, and its entries are kept for when you turn it back on.
Millilitres or fluid ounces?
Either. Choose ml or fl oz, kg or lb and oz, cm or inches, °C or °F in Settings, and change them any time. What you logged stays exactly the same.
Does it give medical advice?
No. Tendly is a record-keeping aid. Its figures come only from what you enter. It does not give medical advice, diagnoses, doses or feeding recommendations: ask your baby's doctor about anything medical.
